When establishing Satoh. We thought a lot about whether we should really establish another architectural office among the countless offices out there. What value do we bring? Does society need it? Would that problem, if solved, really make life better?

The answer is yes, yes for 3 reasons.

First, the living environment is actually getting worse. Vietnam is a developing country, to develop we have to trade off, at the other end is the environment. That is something that cannot be avoided. Our job is to protect ourselves in this process.

Second, design and construction techniques in the country are really outdated and slow to innovate. If there is any innovation, it is mostly in form. The core thing is that the house must protect people, but it still hasn’t been given proper attention and standards.

Third, we have the experience, technology and people who can bring a product that is a much better house, first of all the safety of people’s health and mind.

At Satoh, the design and construction disciplines are closely combined right from the first stages, taking advantage of international technology and design methods and the construction experience of the engineering and construction team in Vietnam.
